The Wisconsin cranberry harvest typically begins during the third week of September and ends in early November. Habelmans cranberry beds are planted with a mixture of early and late season varieties ideally suited to achieve peak ripeness and maximum keeping quality during the Canadian and US Thanksgiving and the Christmas holiday seasons. Whether under the family label or one of our private labels, Habelman’s cranberries are packed and shipped to order ensuring optimum freshness and peak season availability. As seen in the photos below special equipment is used to pick the cranberries.
